What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. They let a site remember things between pages and visits — for example, that you are signed in. We also use your browser’s local storage for a small preference (your chosen language).

The cookies we use

We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies and one local-storage preference. Without the essential ones the site cannot work properly:

• bb_session (cookie) — keeps you signed in as you move between pages. Strictly necessary; expires when your session ends or after a set period.
• bb_csrf (cookie) — protects forms and requests against cross-site request forgery. Strictly necessary.
• bb_lang (local storage) — remembers your chosen language (English or Georgian). Preference only; not used for tracking.
• A short cookie-consent record — remembers that you acknowledged this notice, so we don’t show it on every visit.

No advertising or cross-site tracking

We do not use advertising cookies, profiling analytics, or third-party trackers, and we do not sell your data. Map tiles are loaded from OpenStreetMap only when you view a map; your IP address is visible to that provider as part of delivering the tiles.

How to control cookies

You are in control:

• Most browsers let you view, block, and delete cookies in their settings.
• Blocking essential cookies may stop you from signing in or completing a donation.
• Signing out clears your session cookie; clearing site data removes the language and consent records.
