A book club in the fog

In Khulo municipality, where fog and rainy weather are an everyday matter, book donors can create a new opportunity for the pupils. We are certain that the book club founded here will become the young people’s main passion.

Despite the harsh climate and frequent rain, they meet once a week, choose one particular book in advance, read it attentively and discuss it at the next meeting. Most importantly, they share their own views with each other, and in doing so new social bonds are kindled too.

The main mission of book donors is to collect books for the schools, so that this support lets the club’s members discover new adventures. Like Guram Dochanashvili, we believe that the happiness of reading a book for the first time is a priceless feeling. Every pupil deserves to experience it many times over.
